Week 4 Top 15 Team Rankings

Catholic School Duals and Tri-meet with BC,CC and PC had a definite impact on the rankings this week. As everyone has heard by now St. Joe’s Montvale did not wrestle in the Catholic School Duals because a lot of their wrestlers are not healthy or are ill. Don Bosco Prep seems to be in a similar situation but did wrestle and took some losses they might not have if they were healthy. We dropped them a few spots because of their losses but we don’t expect them to stay down for long. Camden Catholic moved up with the win over BC, Paramus Catholic confirmed their ranking by beating both CC and BC and Bergen Catholic dropped a few spots after losing to both PC and CC. 

1 – St. Joe’s Montvale – Beat DBP 49-12, Didn’t wrestle at Catholic School Duals.

2 – Delbarton – Won the Catholic School Duals beating DBP 66-6 and SPP 67-0. Also beat West Morris Central 60-18.

3 – St. Peter’s Prep – Beat BC 52-13, 2nd at Catholic Duals beating CBA 42-24 and losing to Delbarton in the finals.

4 – Paramus Catholic – Beat BC 40-30 and CC 39-22.

5 – Southern – Dominant wins over Toms River South, Jackson Memorial, Mt. Olive and High Point.

6 – Camden Catholic – Beat BC 38-33 and lost to PC 39-32.

7 – Christian Brothers Academy – Beat Middletown South 56-12, DBP 37-36, St. Joe’s Metuchen 45-24 and lost to SPP 42-24.

8 – Don Bosco Prep – A depleted DBP team beat Seton Hall Prep 36-33, lost to St. Joe’s Montvale 49-12, CBA 37-36 and Delbarton 66-6

9 – Bergen Catholic – Lost to SPP 52-13, lost to CC 38-33 and lost to PC 40-30.

10 – St. Joe’s Metuchen – Dominant wins over Seton Hall Prep, St. Augustine, South Plainfield and Piscataway. Lost to CBA 45-24.

11 – Phillipsburg – Dominant wins over Warren Hills, Cranford and Old Bridge.

12 – St. John Vianney – Beat Red Bank Catholic 40-34 and won Shore Conference Tourney.

13 – Hunterdon Central – Dominant wins over Haddonfield, Williamstown, Lower Cape May and West Deptford.

14 – Mount Olive – Dominant wins over Passaic Tech, Montville and High Point. Lost 42-21 to Southern.

15 – Delaware Valley – Dominant wins over West Morris Central, Morris Knolls and Kittatinny.
