Week 5 Top 15 Team Rankings

Week 5 saw some more shifting in the rankings and still lots of teams with top wrestlers out due to illness. DBP beat PC 47-24 with both teams missing important starters. SJV beat BC 33-28 triggering another BC drop. St. Joe’s Metuchen lost to both Delsea and Seton Hall Prep knocking them out of the Top 15 and Delsea is back in after they beat SJM and SHP. P’burg blew out HC 45-13 but then finished second to them in the HWS County tournament.

1. St. Joe’s Montvale – Beat Ridgewood and placed 3rd at Escape the Rock

2. Delbarton – Beat Pope John 79-0, lost to Wyoming Seminary 34-24

3. St. Peter’s Prep – Placed 16th at Escape the Rock

4. Christian Brothers Academy – Beat Southern 30-28, placed 5th at Escape the Rock

5. Don Bosco Prep – Beat Paramus Catholic 47-24, placed 18th at Escape the Rock

6. Paramus Catholic – Lost to Don Bosco, placed 23rd at Escape the Rock

7. Southern – Lost to CBA and placed 6th at Escape the Rock

8. Camden Catholic – Dominated Timber Creek and Camden, placed 15th at Escape the Rock

9. St. John Vianney – Beat BC 33-28

10. Phillipsburg – Blew out HC 45-13 then finished 2nd in HWS County tournament behind HC

11. Bergen Catholic – Lost to SJV

12. Delaware Valley – 3rd at HWC County tournament behind HC and P’burg

13. Hunterdon Central – Lost big to P’burg and 1st at HWC County tournament

14. Mount Olive – Placed 26th at Escape the Rock

15. Delsea – Beat Seton Hall Prep and St. Joe’s Metuchen
